The South American Archaeological
Isotopic Database (SAAID)1 is an open-access data resource that compiles available stable (δ13C, δ15N, δ34S, δ18 O) and radiogenic ( 87 Sr/ 86 Sr) isotope measurements reported for human, animal, and plant bioarchaeological remains from South America. For data collection, a systematic review was carried out of available scientific publications (i.e., peer-review indexed journals) and grey literature.
This version includes: 1) an updated version (until 2025) of SAAID; and 2) a complete list of references by modern country.
